Astrological Sign: Virgo Sun, Leo Moon, Aquarius Rising

How are you, really?

(Smirk) I am well. Honestly, I am getting through each day. I feel like all I do is work and come home. I have been out of my hometown for a little over 4 years now and have moved to 3 different states (once for love and twice for work). I don’t have friends, and I have to be in the mood to get out and do things on my own. It’s challenging and I’m rarely in the mood.

What is the greatest change you’ve made this year?

Focusing on my wants and needs.

What is something you hope never changes?

My ability to sustain myself. I don’t want to have to depend on others because that has often been disappointing.

When do you feel most capable?

When I’m correct and prepared. I love to do research and read about things I’m interested in.

How do you nurture yourself?

By spoiling myself. I’ll buy the things I want and get everything that’s in my cart. I like to lie around when I’m off and had to learn that it’s okay to really rest.

Aromatherapy. Vitamins.

How do you nurture others?

I listen to them, and my goal is to make them feel heard/seen. It does take effort to really listen to others.

Is there anything you wish you had said but didn’t?

I didn’t have the words at the time because I was a child, but I wish I had said something about the way my father made me feel whenever I needed something from him. This is most definitely one of the reasons I’m hyper-independent.

What is something that turns you on?

Thoughtfulness, like, you were thinking about me?!

Wow, you really remember what I said about that?…

Generosity-Intelligence.

Cleanliness/smelling good and is well-dressed.

What is something that turns you off?

Unkept appearance/living space.

Coming on too strong.

Lying/Cheating.

Selfish/Not generous.

When was the last time you walked away from something that no longer served you?

My last relationship. I moved to another state for love. I really gave that relationship my all and thought he would be my husband. It was true bliss in the beginning, and if I’m honest, I miss being that happy with someone. I love myself more and had to walk away.

How often do you feel you achieve balance?

Sometimes.

What is one risk you took that resulted in reward?

Relocating for a promotion.

When do you feel most overwhelmed?

When my social battery is drained.

When I have back-to-back meetings and still have people in my face at work. Like, ugh, no, I really don’t want to talk to you.

How do you move forward?

I just keep going every day, knowing that I’ve come such a long way.

What is something that will always make you laugh?

Funny TikTok videos.

What is something that will always make you cry?

Heartbreak and sad parts in movies.

Have you ever been betrayed?

Yes. Funny how it can only come from someone you know.

What is your greatest temptation?

To be brutally honest with people. The thoughts in my head sometimes make me chuckle, but they're not nice at all.

What is one thing you feel is missing from your current life?

The guarantee of lifelong stability. It’s an interesting thing only having yourself to rely on.

What is one thing you can’t get enough of?

Clothes, lipstick, good food and perfume.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

I’ve learned that everyone sees life through their own perspective and experiences. People will project onto others, and you must see through the static. I am open-minded and love learning new things.
